Welcome
to “CÉIM AN FHIA”.
“Céim
an Fhia” literally translated, means “Step of the Deer”,
in recognition of the deer often seen grazing in the nearby field
or running through Cong woods. Visitors may be lucky enough to catch
a glimpse of these beautiful shy animals roaming in this area, their
natural habitat.
Céim
an Fhia is a beautiful four bedroom home with an idyllic setting in
a quiet secure cul-de-sac, with open fields to the rear, Ashford Castle
and woods and lovely Lough Corrib on its doorstep and the mountains
of Tourmakeady and Partry within view to the west.
A short
walk takes one to the tranquil lake shore and to picturesque Cong
Village of “Quiet Man” fame.
A short
drive out of Cong village one is struck by the breathtaking lake,
woodland and mountain scenery, all the way to Clifden, capital of
Connemara, a mere 45 min away.
